Industrial Symbiosis in action

Join us at the Limpopo Industrial Symbiosis Business Opportunity Workshop and learn more about the benefits of industrial symbiosis and opportunities to improve waste utilisation and waste management. If recycling industrial waste is too expensive, or not recycleable, then the Limpopo Industry Symbiosis Programme will help facilitate resource exchanges with other businesses or entrepreneurs.

RECP Finance and Training Workshop for SMEs

The National Cleaner Production Centre of South Africa (NCPC-SA) is hosting a series of Finance and Training workshops for SMEs to raise awareness and facilitate access to funding mechanisms that promotes mainstreaming of resource efficient and cleaner production (RECP) into their enterprises.

Only 4% of the waste generated in Africa is recycled. This and other findings are outlined in the Waste Management Outlook Report released by the United Nations Environment and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) on World Environment Day, at the Sustainability Week in Pretoria.

For more information join us at the NCPC-SA's 4th Biennial Industrial Efficiency Conference on the 10 - 11 September 2019 at the CSIR International Convention Centre. Click here to read more about the conference and to register.

The Limpopo Provincial Government, in collaboration with the National Cleaner Production Centre South Africa, will officially launch the Limpopo Industrial Symbiosis Programme on Thursday 25 April 2019, in Musina, Limpopo.
