Industrial Efficiency Conference 2019

The NCPC-SA’s 4th  biennial Industrial Efficiency Conference 2019 focused on empowering businesses and policy makers to adopt and support a cleaner, more efficient model of doing business, while addressing environmental and socio-economic challenges. 

 

The conference focused on the following themes:

 

RECP in the digital economy

Sessions addressed resource efficiency best practice, as well as how smarter, digital infrastructure could be used to enhance the circular economy, and the ability of industries to become more resource efficient and better manage their footprint.

 

Developing circular economy producers and consumers

By showcasing products of businesses that have adopted RECP, to raise awareness about the importance of consumer and customer purchasing decisions in driving the transition to a circular economy.

 

This year, the conference included a session dedicated to improving the efficiencies of the foundry sector, hosted at the conference by industry support programme, the National Foundry Technology Network (NFTN).
