Join a ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard Webinar

The National Cleaner Production Centre, South Africa (NCPC-SA) and the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) are hosting a series of workshops called ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard - the benefits of certification to your triple bottom line. The workshop will present and discuss the enormous benefits that ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard presents to businesses, as well as how the NCPC-SA  and SABS can support companies wishing to become certified.

ISO 50001 was revised in 2018 and now includes even more scope to improve energy management, thus reducing costs and GHG emissions in a continuous cycle of improvement.  "Designed to support organizations in all sectors, this ISO standard provides a practical way to improve energy use, through the development of an energy management system (EnMS)."
The webinar will discuss how the NCPC-SA, through the Industrial Energy Efficiency (IEE) Project, can assist companies on their EnMS journey and how the SABS can facilitate a smooth certification process.
Our aim is to dramatically increase the number of certified companies in South Africa, leading to sustained and meaningful energy savings for industry and the country.
The first webinar was held with the Pretoria-based team of the IEE Project on 25 August 2020 and aimed at companies in Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.  We encourage companies to sign up for one of our upcoming workshops in their preferred region.
Our upcoming webinars are aimed at reaching companies regionally.  Please register for the event in your region or the one closest to you.
