Sign up for 1 and 2 day Energy System Optimisation training in Chiller System Optimisation (CSO) and Refrigeration System Optimisation (RSO) Training.

 

The new courses offered by the National Cleaner Production Centre South Africa aim toprovide plant personnel, consulting engineers and energy managers with an understanding of chiller and refrigeration systems.

 

Course participants will get a good awareness of the knowledge, skills and tools needed to plan and take action, for improving energy performance of these systems using no‐cost operational control improvements and low‐cost measures.

 

 

 

 

Facility personnel will be able to assess their systems and achieve energy and cost savings through:

·         System maintenance & Best Practices

·         Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FD&D)

·         Appropriate uses of chilled water and the

International course facilitator Riyaz Papar

 

The CSO and RSO training in Pretoria will be facilitated by Riyaz Papar Director Global Energy Services at Hudson Technologies Company, USA. He has more than 25 years of experience in Industrial Energy Systems and Best Practices.

 

Riyaz is the United States Department of Energy (US DOE) Steam Best Practices Senior Instructor and a US DOE Steam Energy Expert and UNIDO’s Industrial Energy Efficiency (IEE) Project Lead Steam System International Expert.

 

His work spans several countries including South Africa, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar and Egypt on IEE Project missions, where he worked and/or provided energy consulting services in 150+ industrial plants in the US and internationally. He has also provided Best Practices training to over 5,000 plant personnel.

 

Riyaz is a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer and a Certified Energy Manager. His graduate-level education specialized in the area of thermal engineering. Lastly, he is the author of more than 50 Technical Publications in Journals, Conference Proceedings & Trade Magazines.
